12 – 13 October 2013 Agra to Rajasthan

On Sunday we visited the Taj Mahal the jewel in India’s many world heritage sites. It was simply stunning. We also visited an impressive very large fort nearby which is now used by the Indian Army as one of its operational bases. On Monday we visited a another two forts and progressively we have come to understand the diverse early history of India.
